Railways Statistics 2005-2024
The following tables provide various data on passenger and goods rail transport in Syria in the past 20 years. There are two railways companies in Syria, both state-owned. The Hijaz Railways Organisation that only transports passengers and the much larger Syrian Railways Organisation that transports both passengers and cargo. The data is sourced from the Ministry of Transport.
