Foreign arrivals remain stable, tourists on the rise

The number of tourists visiting Syria has increased by 19% in the first half of this year, while a similar 19% fall in one-day visitors has led to an overall 1.6% fall in foreign arrivals, from 2.62 million in H1 2004 to 2.58m.
