Ministry of Finance Publishes Breakdown of Civil Servant Salaries

The lowest and highest paid salaries for civil servants stand at SYP 9,765 and SYP 38,800, respectively, following the recent pay increases announced by the government, according to the Ministry of Finance.

The Syrian President issued several decrees on March 24 to increase the pay for civil servants and pensioners between 20 and 30 percent and raise the minimum wage by some 50 percent.
