Government List Shows Little Change in Food Prices

The Syrian government issued last week its latest fortnightly price list of key food items sold in the local market.

The list shows little changes. The price of chicken, vegetable ghee and powder milk fell, while all other items remained unchanged.

Groceries are theoretically supposed to abide by the list, the prices shown on it serving as a ceiling.
