Covid-19 Update: UAE Delivers First Aid Package to Syria, Days After Normalisation with Israel

A flight transporting a relatively large shipment of medical aid from the United Arab Emirates landed in Damascus on August 30. It was the first such delivery by the UAE since the beginning of the pandemic and occurred just days after it normalised its relations with Israel.
