Customs violations stipulated in Articles 253 through 278 of Customs Law No. 38 of 2006 and its amendments shall be exempted from all fines imposed under the provisions of that same law, on the condition that a settlement agreement is concluded for the payment of customs duties, fees, and other taxes due thereon only.

Under Decree No. 67 dated 18-3-2026, the minimum wage for workers in the public, private, cooperative, and mixed sectors not covered by the Basic Law for State Employees No. 50 of 2004 and its amendments has been increased to become SYP 12,560 per month.
