ABOUT THE SYRIA REPORT

The Syria Report is an English-language publication covering Syrian economic and political economy affairs since 2001. The publication’s business model and history are unique in the Syrian media landscape and its production process follows the highest standards of the profession. Its readers include a large spectrum of professionals, analysts, policy makers and practitioners working on Syria.

The Syria Report was the first publication in the Middle East to offer paywalled content and is the oldest Syrian online publication still operating (24 years old as of early 2025).
