AANES’ 2022 Budget Forecast to Grow by 60 Percent

The Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria recently announced that its 2022 budget is forecasted to be 60 percent higher than this year’s budget, making it the highest budget since the administration was founded. However, because of the lack of transparency, budget figures should be taken with caution.
